Once upon a time, I had all these symptoms too and worked through them with specific somatic and nervous system regulating exercises my Trauma Coach created just for me. Now years later I no longer have anxiety, rage, have to socially withdraw or isolate, I am able to focus and make easier decisions, I don’t have chronic body pain or have bad memories of my past coming up all the time or have racing thoughts or feelings of overwhelm. My nervous system is balanced and able to move up and down with the challenges of life and not get thrown off course like I used to. I have better relationships and don’t feel guilty, shame or have low self esteem but know my worth and do things because I want to not because I should.

Hi! I’m Jill and I’m a Certified Trauma Coach. As a trauma coach, I understand the lasting impact trauma can have on an individual's mental, emotional and physical well-being as I have had to work through my own trauma first to get here to help you.  Many practices and trainings have helped me along the way such as somatics, Reiki, Jin Shin do, Yoga, Oneness, my Trauma Recovery Coaching Course and of course a lot of persistence.

Trauma can be incredibly difficult to navigate and overcome, but with the right support and guidance, it is possible to heal and move forward in a positive direction.   As I am trained in  trauma-informed care, it is my mission to create a safe space for your personal growth and transformation by giving you mindfulness, self-care techniques and coping strategies to use for anxiety and stress management.  Healing from Trauma can take time so I promise to support you in your emotional well being through empowerment and empathy to help you build resilience.  My sessions are done by zoom so you can be in the comfort of your own home so can be a great help for your mental health support!

WHAT DO I DO?

I help you discover what is holding you back from being happy and successful in your life. You might feel sad and depressed all the time  or self-critical, impatient or frustrated at others.  You might have the same issues in relationships that come up over and over again.  I help you uncover and process old wounds, negative beliefs  and give you tools to help you work through anxiety, dis-regulation and disconnection. I like to think of myself as a pattern breaker.

Trauma is also what you didn’t get that you needed!

Did you know that chronic pain can be from unhealed trauma?

Did you know that anxiety is an emotion stored in the body coming from unprocessed trauma which is why mindfulness does not always work to calm anxiety. Working with a bottom up approach is very helpful which is why I teach somatic practices.

Somatic practices aim to treat PTSD and other mental and emotional health issues through the connection of mind and body. This body-centric approach works by helping to release stress, tension and trauma from the body and is great for nervous system regulation and grounding techniques. Practising somatics can be a great way to discover inner healing through self-awareness, self-compassion & self-discovery.

Harmony Wave

This session will take you far away into a deep meditative state so you feel you are floating on the clouds. A great way to release tension, stress and anxiety and help alleviate any pain and inflammation in the body.

As a trauma coach I will primarily focus on your current life and how trauma is affecting you in the present. I will work with you to help you rediscover your authentic self by working with somatic practices to help regulate your nervous system and release blocks in the body. We will then build up your strengths, healthy beliefs and cultivate a more robust trauma healing toolbox.

Anxiety, depression, dissociation, perfectionism, substance misuse, self harm, disordered eating, over working and burnout may be some of the struggles and symptoms you are experiencing.

These symptoms can serve as cues you are living out of alignment with your authentic self.

A life altering experience, such as betrayal in relationship, divorce, job loss, accident, illness or death often intensifies these symptoms and they can become debilitating.

These experiences have the potential to break our hearts and in the breaking, crack us open to the discovery of our true selves.

Knowing our authentic self and living in alignment can foster a more meaningful, fulfilling life.

 I feel very safe, sharing my deepest secrets and my deepest fears and my biggest traumas with Jill as  it’s brought me closer to fixing them than I have in all the years of my counselling I have done in the past 30 years. She has given me lots of good exercises that I find works very well in grounding myself, and creating a security within myself.
